Online Sex Addiction
Hey, I’ve been trying to quit online sex. I was exposed to porn/sex at an early age, and I developed a compulsive habit. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve been trying to quit, but the cravings are hard not to give into. It’s really affecting myself and my relationship. I recently relapsed after I found out my friend committed suicide. I’ve been meditating and trying to meditate when I get cravings, but I often find myself still wanting to have online sex.
Any support would be greatly appreciated
Finding who god made me to be, and understanding that is what has been helping me. Understanding why Christ died for us has been very helpful. I pray that you find freedom.

Certainly. One of the many beautiful things about Christ is that he is not just hear to help us get rid of our problems, but he is here to help us change and grow, to aid others, and to fight for the will of god. Getting internet filters and distancing yourself from pornography is great, but we need to change the desires in our hearts to make the ultimate change. We need to fully understand the depths of why this is wrong, and why we ought to quit. I wish you the best on your journeys, and know that you’re not alone, I am also struggling for freedom.

Thank you for the moment of encouragement. I hope things get easier with you. It’s been hard but it’s been getting better after I tried to encoymyself in the mirror in the morning
