Watch porn, masturbate, feel bad, repeat!!!
I have this likeness for pornography, and after watching it I masturbate and feel bad. Because i know the dangers of it. But I still get to do it most times, and it sucks. It even made me start to talk shit (sexual jokes) and flirt with strangers online(even the ones that are waaay older than me). I basically need some help right now and that's why I'm here. Hopefully, I get the support I need!
Find a real life person.. it's hard but worth it...
@seekinghelp132 I just re-started my NoFap/Porn Free journey. We can become accountability partners if you want to.
@seekinghelp132 I'm in the same position as you. Sometimes the urges are just too much. My limbs start getting jittery, a slow, soft rush goes through my body. Its like when you get to the top on a rollercoaster, and then the car goes down: its that sensation.
So I pull up some porn, sometimes its videos, sometimes its NSFW sub-Reddits, I masturbate and then its done. I don't feel happy anymore. I don't feel like I'm worth anything, really. All my motivation for the day was gone in that moment. What's worse is that I think I may be developing ED because of my addiction. It will be hard to romance and have sex irl because my identity is based on pornography. My fantasies aren't my own, its just pretend.
As for solutions, its just as simple as not watching it. We'll get urges to watch it, very strong urges that don't seem like they can be overcome. But they can. Whenever I've had them, I simply do a max set of pushups and situps. If its still there I'll go for a walk, then a max set again. I'll read a book. Listen to music. Anything to distract your mind off the urge to watch porn and masturbate. I am hesitant to encourage masturbation without porn at this point. I just know I need to kick this porn addiction before I'm totally ruined. You're not alone out there. Sorry for the long response.
@MelancholyCreature I've never tried doing pushups at those times, the horniness blocks away any reasonable thoughts. And regarding your ED, I read a book called "erection on demand". You should check it out, it might help you with it.
@seekinghelp132 I appreciate the reference. Once I get a job and a bank account that will be my first order off Amazon (moved to a new state).
Yeah the key to the pushup thing is to try and distract your mind as best you can away from being horny. I found the best way is to get up and move. Just, move. Distract yourself. The mind is funny sometimes. Please try it out over the next few days and feel free to come back to this thread and let me know if its working. Good luck :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@seekinghelp132 hey, why do you think this is bad at the first place? So you say you feel bad after you masturbate. Why so? Do you think this can become an addiction? I think it's pretty normal for a single man, who is looking. And once you find a girlfriend, this would be happening less. Every person watches porn, it's normal and nothing you should be shy about. And this definitely should not hold you back from meeting new people - online and offline, going for dates and having fun
@LadyAlyssa I can't speak for OP, but I'm definitely addicted, even despite the self-hate after orgasm. At this point in my addiction, I am so reliant on porn that I don't show interest in girls in real life. There's so much anxiety I have that involves talking to strangers. Then you have to make her laugh, make sure you're saying the right things, always second guessing yourself because she might not like you back, and you're just wasting your time and money trying to get sex and affection.
With porn, the reason why its so dangerous is because its free and accessible if you have internet. You don't have to go out and meet new people, just pull up NSFW pics and vids and "have fun" that way. Long term it eats away at your mental health and its so difficult to stop when you haven't been developing your social skills by going out and getting rejected by women.
I have found that mindful masturbation has really helped me with my porn addiction. Maybe it is something you can try!

Making time for your body, in a new way. Will force the mind to follow.
You are not alone in your struggle. There is light, to your darkness.
