Hi everyone..im a middle aged man, porn and chat line addict. I have had this problem for over 25 yrs. My cycle is feeling ok, then act out,,,compulsively view porn (nothing extreme or illegal), talk on chat lines. then feel terible, guilty, ashamed , slowly recover ...ok for awhile then cycle again.
im married with adult children , professonal job, otherwise physically fit and well,,
im so sick of this cycle , the devastation it causes in my life, the cost to my self esteem and relationships, time I waste. I feel so alone with this. i have tried counselling , online help sites but still seem to be the same.
Any help or comments appreciated.

It sounds like you have great self awareness of the issue and how it works as a cycle. Yes, I can't imagine the impact this addiction has on your life. How have you been coping lately?
