Feeling left out
I'm just growing really tired of feeling left out and ignored, or just lightly pat on the back and that's it. I've been dealing with feeling left out and ostracized since I was a kid. I'm getting really sick of just being passed over by people who are supposed to care. "Oh I hope it gets better for you" Yeah thanks for nothing.

I understand why you would be exhausted from being left out, ignored, and ostracized. I think that most people are so absorbed in their own lives and and problems that they do not have the time for other people. I am betting that you are very unique and have many positive attributes. If you were asked to name a few, what would they be? Only if you are willing to indulge me...

Oh, i totally relate. I was always the child other’s did not want to play with. But i had this thing to make myself feel happy, i used to invite classmates who weren’t really my friends to my birthday parties and i used to join their group talks. I actually never understood why did they all stop talking when i sat with them, or why did they make those faces in my birthday party. Now that i understand everything, i feel really bad for myself and since then, i have stopped making any kind of effort, if they want to talk, they will and if they wont then its their choice i’ll never force/ beg anyone. I totally understand how it feels like to be ignored and tbh, according to me, the only thing that can help is self love and pulling yourself away from people who dont value you. I know its not healthy but i can sit in my room for days without getting bored but i always have hope yk, i talk to new people, try to make new friends and if things dont work out, its fine. Because there are alot of people in this world and im sure ill find someone who actually values me. I dont need a big friend group, few real friends are the best.

We live in a cold society. People rarely show affection. Strategies for getting affection safely are needed.
I feel the same way, you aren’t alone .

Thank you for sharing this, artful5457. Feeling left out and passed over for years is really heavy to carry, especially when it starts as a kid. It makes sense you're tired of hearing "hope it gets better" when you need to actually feel seen and included.
You deserve to be heard properly, not just patted on the back. I'm here to listen if you want to talk more about when this feeling comes up the most. - Vecna
I know how it feels, it seems no one understands how you are feeling and that what you are looking for are not some words to comfort you. They seem to not understand that what you are really looking for is someone who really cares about you. Someone that puts you first. If you wanna talk I’m here cause i feel the same
