How do you keep yourself organized?

Sometimes a major part of being able to keep on track of what you are actually supposed to be doing when you had ADD/ADHD is just keeping yourself organized. Maybe for you this might be writing your tasks down and hanging it up on the wall, for others it may be colorful pens and highlighters and making sure your binders and bookbag are all neat and prepared for school so that you don't lose anything. How are you able to keep yourself organized with ADD/ADHD?

Hi!

Hope it's okay that I'm posting here! I saw this post in the forums and even though I don't have ADD/ADHD I do thoroughly enjoy organising (and beautiful stationary!).

I have tried and tested so many different things, from evernote to notepads, planners to bullet journals and I do agree that it's about finding what's best for you.

For me personally, I like using a calendar that I can hold in my hands, and the app Wunderlist. That syncs up from my computer to my phone which is super handy, as well as having regular notifications and repeat tasks (like cleaning or managing my finances).

Sticky notes or random ripped pieces of paper I place on my desk, Sometimes iPhone calender & reminders to take medicines for example since I have skipped before.

When it comes to organizing my thoughts I take forever re-reading/editing before I hit send/submit since I try to be grammatically correct. Right now, Im not going to do any of that.

It can be so easy to forget a lot of stuff, but it's awesome you found a way to make a note of things so you can remember!! And reorganizing our thoughts can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the situation. I know sometimes our brains try to make things perfect and things can take longer to get done.
