Setting alarms
Does anyone else here set alarms to remember to go to classes/events/work/meals/sleep?
I have maybe 10 repeating alarms that go off throughout the week. They used to go off 10 minutes before, but now I've set them for 20 minutes before instead, and hit snooze every 5 minutes until I've actually walked out the door/gotten into bed/taken out what I need to be working on. It doesn't work 100%, and every now and then I realize that it's 2am and I've forgotten to go to sleep even though I was exhausted at 10, but it's so much better than relying on my brain for all of that.
@quickwittedStrawberries3089 It's literally 1:35 am right now and I've been tired since 10 but have no idea where the time went lol.
And no, I don't use alarms for things. I'm on my phone so much that I just created a habit of swiping them away. I do, however, have post it notes on every inch of everything
I set and name the alarms I use, like: rise n shine!, Meds!, Check schedule & tote bag, Time to go. I've found it generally, very! helpful and sometimes it bugs me. These two things being said, life tends to go better when I use and pay attention to my "alarming reminders."
