ADHD or am I just chaotic?
Hey everyone
So I’m not really looking for a diagnosis, more so just like honest advice?
So for as long as I can remember I’ve had a jumpy brain. Always on the go. I’m down? It’s on the go. I’m happy it’s on the go.
I’ve always been good with getting big tasks done, like I’ll do the dishes but will leave the cabinet doors open.
I’ll finish a 10 page paper but won’t turn it in or will forget to write my name.
I can speak 4 languages fluently but can’t tell my left from my right.
Now I know all these things could just be me? They could just be me being forgetful or whatever. But are these things in me at the same time a sign of me having adhd?

I wouldn't rush to be putting a label or diagnosis on something.
I know it can be helpful to get answers, to best support ourselves.
But ultimately only someone qualified can give you those answers.
I took cam so many things at a great rate and excel in many areas, whereas in other areas, I need to work on.
I think, once you know your strengths, being proud of those and as for the things you struggle with, let them be what you focus on.
Sending you my best wishes 💜💖

@squirrel4364It’s really insightful that you’re noticing these patterns in yourself. Many of the things you describe, like having a jumpy brain, finishing tasks but missing small details, and struggles with organization, can be common for people with ADHD. But they can also be part of how some people’s minds naturally work. Getting advice from a professional can help if you want clarity, but in the meantime, focusing on strategies that help with organization and reminders can make a big difference. You’re not alone in feeling this way, and there are lots of ways to manage these challenges effectively.
I mean, I have similar quirks, and I'm not also not sure if I have ADHD. It's better if you get a diagnosis to just be sure, even though I completely understand if you can't do that right now. I really hope this helps. 🤞🏻
