Adhd/ADD
I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and depression & i even have tried self-diagnosing myself with what i believe is Bipolar disorder or borderline personality but every sense i was a kid Ive always wondered if i was on the adhd/add spectrum.
The way my brain works from how ive heard them be explained almost relates to both sides, i have days im extremely spontaneous and its hard to focus and then i have days where i cant do anything but to contemplate things going on in life and almost obsess about it in my head.
I have heightened highs & depressing lows. If anyone else goes through this, please share your thoughts or experiences!
@AdaptableParadox8 I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through these challenges. It's important to remember that you're not alone in this. Many people experience complex emotional and cognitive patterns, and it's a positive step that you're seeking to understand your own experiences better.
However, self-diagnosis can be tricky, and it's best to consult with a mental health professional who can provide a proper evaluation and guidance. They can help determine if ADHD, bipolar disorder, or other conditions might be a factor in what you're experiencing.
In the meantime, reaching out for support from friends, family, or support groups can be beneficial. Sharing your thoughts and experiences with others who may have similar feelings can offer comfort and understanding. Take care of yourself, and I hope you find the support you need on your journey.
Yes, it is not uncommon to feel as if you are managing various mental health difficulties. Personally, I've struggled with anxiety and depression for years, but I've also wondered whether there is something else, such as ADHD or bipolar disease. Some days I'm full of energy, bouncing from one idea to the next, but others I can't seem to focus and become trapped in my ideas. It's like riding a wave of ups and downs, which may be taxing. If anyone else can relate, I'd love to hear about your experiences. It's always comforting to know that we're not alone on this journey...

It's stressful to deal with sadness, anxiety, and maybe even ADHD symptoms at the same time. You're not the only one who feels this way. A lot of people have symptoms that combine and find it hard to diagnose themselves.
It's important to get help from a professional to get a correct evaluation, but it can also help a lot to talk to people who understand. Support and community groups and online communities can help people feel like they belong and are understood.
Do not forget to look after yourself and ask for help when you require it. As you deal with your mental health, you deserve help and understanding...
