Hey I’ve been with my gf 5 years. I struggle with addiction which includes insecurity in my relationship. To me, she avoids intimacy sometimes. Is that a common thing?
I would talk to her about it, but we’ve been going through a lot lately and I don’t want to add me being insecure to it. It’s definitely worse when stressed about things but I’m talking about when things are normal.

It really does sound like you're going through a lot Can you specify what kind of intimacy? In this context I'm assuming physical intimacy? Well she might not be in the mood considering that you guys are going through a lot. But I think it's best if you talk to her about it
