Hey kindCake6062

I want to say I totally hear you—learning about your ADHD is a huge deal, and it's completely normal to feel like everything is suddenly "louder" or more intense once you have a name for it. It makes so much sense that you're struggling right now, and please know you’re not alone in this.

When sensory stuff starts feeling like too much, sometimes just "lowering the volume" on one thing at a time can help, like dimming a harsh light or putting on some noise-canceling headphones if you have them.

Many of us find that weighted blankets or even just taking a few slow, deep breaths—where you exhale longer than you inhale—can help ground your nervous system when it feels like it's short-circuiting.

t’s also okay to give yourself a "time-in" and retreat to a quiet, dark spot for a bit to let your brain reset.

Please be extra kind to yourself today; you’re doing the best you can with a brain that’s just processing the world at a much higher intensity right now.

Love and Courage,

Calm Rosebud 🕊️🌹

This will be scary, low dose will help you. Those going crazy are given high doses of antipsychotics they are good to calm.

Ill tell you what, adhd usually and when I say this USUALLY doesnt have sensory issues, but I'll talk as if it is adhd, if you can try to hyperfixate on things you like and love, try to keep everything under control that way
