Let's Talk About ADHD
Hey everyone,
I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to open up a space for anyone who might want to talk about ADHD. As someone diagnosed with ADHD myself, and as a parent of a teenage daughter who also has ADHD inattentive type. I understand the unique challenges we face.
It’s important to recognize that ADHD symptoms can manifest differently in girls compared to boys. Girls often internalize their struggles, leading to anxiety and depression, which can sometimes go unnoticed.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or just want to chat about your experiences, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re in this together!
Take care
Hi! I, too, have inattentive-type ADHD. I think it's a misnomer, because my main challenges are with executive functioning in general. Like, I was glued to my couch for 2 hours despite my stomach growling because my comfy couch and my phone are way more interesting than prepping food. I'm looking forward to when ADHD gets officially renamed.
