What should a child with ADHD do is their parents dont believe in it like: you dont have ADHD, you just made that up or I dont believe it exists.?

@winterpeace165

Hi winterpeace, I can imagine it is quite frustrating and disheartening for you to have your parents not taking your concerns seriously. I am so sorry you are going through that. I think that learning as much as you can about ADHD will equip you to be able to provide examples of how you see ADHD in yourself and be able to answer their questions.

I have a couple of resources for you. One is a Reddit group about ADHD and a thread specific to parents not believing in their diagnosis. You may be able to find some ideas there by joining that group.

This other one is an article from ADDitude online magazine:

Hope this helps get you started. :)
