A trick I'm learning and that has significant benefits is:

How you go to sleep is how you wake up

I've noticed that I generally wake up with the thoughts from the night before running in my mind. And when those thoughts were concerning then I woke up with racing thoughts and a racing pulse. But when those thoughts were good, I woke up with a calm mind and heart.

The advice from professionals to switch off or close the book at the end of the work (or productive) day is key.

So a few hours before going to bed, wind down. Relax. Calm. And think about pleasant things. I love thinking about things that bring me joy. Things I find fun. And I love envisioning a dream future. I also find listening to someone soothing or positive brings me a surprising stillness in the mornings. Hashtag anxiety hacks.

We got this guys. We are kicking anxiety to the curb, one hack at a time :-P. Have a great day or night.

@Sueperu thank you for this post 💖 and how very true, a night time routine is very important, I also find calming music a great help, some mood lights and candles(make sure you have someone to put them out) 💖
