Struggling with anxiety, panic attacks
Hi, I've been struggling with anxiety and panic disorder for almost three years now. I take medication for it, and my doctor recently increased the dose. This is the first medication I've tried, and I'm hoping things will eventually get better.
One of the hardest parts for me is how afraid I am of physical symptoms. I experience dizziness, difficulty breathing, shaking, itching and tingling sensations on my skin, numbness, stomach problems, and other symptoms. I spend most of my day worrying about them. It feels like whenever one symptom goes away, a new one appears and gives me something else to worry about.
I wake up with anxiety on my mind and go to sleep thinking about it. Right now, I feel like I'm in a very deep low point. I've been constantly dizzy, I'm afraid to leave the house, but sometimes I don't even feel safe inside my own home.
I've also started neglecting my relationships and losing interest in the things I normally enjoy. My stamina is poor, and lately that has made me worry that there is something physically wrong with my body. During the past week, I've had two very intense panic attacks, and now I'm constantly afraid that another one will happen.
I feel unmotivated and scared about the future. I really want to get better, but sometimes I feel stuck. I receive advice and try to follow it, but when my attempts don't work out the way I hoped, I become even more frustrated and anxious. Then I start feeling like nothing is working and nothing will ever get better.
I've had many medical examinations, but whenever a new symptom appears, I'm torn between being terrified that something is wrong with me and being terrified of going to the doctor.
I also find it very difficult to cope with difficult situations in life, and honestly, anxiety has affected almost every part of my life. I feel like it has taken so much away from me.
I would really like to hear from people who have experienced something similar. How do you deal with constantly worrying about physical symptoms and feeling afraid all the time? Is it possible to get your life back from anxiety?
@decisivePapaya5218 I deal with ALL of these exact same symptoms and disorders. Im really hoping it gets better but in my personal experience, it's gotten much worse. I can't watch the news or talk to my disgusting family who act like they care but are just using me for entertainment! Group chats about me, breaking into my place when I leave and all types of bull crap they wouldn't want done to them. im crazy though so I dont matter to them. People take from you all types of things but trust can not be replaced. Just left feeling betrayed and alone. Not even wanting to leave my home at all. I overstand you then i'm dealing with more as well. Wondering where all the genuine people are .......😪
@decisivePapaya5218 I really feel this. The symptom-hopping is one of the hardest parts, it makes you feel like you can never relax. I've been there. Something that helped me was writing down my symptoms and looking back to see that they always passed. It didn't stop the fear completely, but it gave me a little proof that I'd survived it before. You're not alone.
Hi hope you are better
Did you try take panel blood tests? Sometimes itseems that deficiency in vitaminb12, vitamin D can cause anxiety panic attacks. Actually many mental health issues for that matter.

I had panic attacks learning to focus on movement gave me something to do. Complicated movements don’t allow runaway anxiety. After a while you can meditate walking.
In meditation you look at the emotions and thoughts rather than hide from them. When starting a job with children i felt intense anxiety and I just said I was anxious. Most of the time I don’t feel anxious.
I still have my shadow but I am rarely scared of it.
Platonic hugs both of you.
