anxiety
hello, im new here and new to this website. recently i have been struggling with anxiety. i have not been diagnosed— just to get that straight. some happened in my personal life, and so for the past week i have been having really bad anxiety. there have been alot of times where i cant eat anything bc im so anxious that i become really nauseous. would anyone be able to share some recommendations on how to deal with this anxiety, like breathing tips or just anything in general. it would really be appreciated :)

These are some things I follow when dealing with anxiety :
Deep Breathing - Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of four, hold your breath for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of four. Repeat this several times until you start to feel more relaxed.
Mindfulness and Meditation - There are many apps and online resources available that offer guided meditation sessions specifically designed to reduce anxiety.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation: This works by tensing and then slowly releasing each muscle group in your body, starting from your toes and working your way up to your head.
Another really useful one is the 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Technique
5 Things You Can See: Look around your environment and identify five things you can see.
4 Things You Can Touch: Identify four things you can physically feel. It could be the texture of your clothing, the smooth surface of a table, or the warmth of the sun on your skin.
3 Things You Can Hear: Tune in to the sounds around you and identify three things you can hear.
2 Things You Can Smell: Pay attention to any scents in your environment and identify two things you can smell. It could be the aroma of coffee brewing, the scent of flowers nearby, or the smell of fresh air.
1 Thing You Can Taste: Finally, focus on your sense of taste and identify one thing you can taste. If you have something nearby to eat or drink or if not you can just notice the taste in your mouth at that moment
Hope these help you!
