A day
I just wanted to share something that’s been bothering me. Today, a teacher spoke to me very rudely in class and told me to get out in front of everyone, which made me feel really embarrassed. I keep replaying it in my mind and it’s affecting me.
Also, there’s a girl I know who behaves strangely—she talks nicely to students who are good in studies, but makes fun of those who aren’t. She has laughed at people for not knowing answers. She’s from my hometown too, and last year she used to follow me around. Once she even told my aunt that I don’t go to school, and then tried to say she wasn’t gossiping, but it didn’t feel right.
All of this is making me question myself and my self-respect. I’m trying to focus on my studies, but it’s still bothering me. I just needed to get this out and hear some thoughts.

Hi,
I’m really sorry you had to go through that. Being spoken to like that in front of everyone can feel really embarrassing and hurtful, so it makes sense that it’s still on your mind.
I do feel your teacher could have handled the situation in a much better way. But what happened today doesn’t define who you are or your abilities, even if it felt that way in the moment.
Also, I know it might feel like everyone is judging you because of it, but most people are usually caught up in their own thoughts and worries more than we realize.
About that girl, you’re right to feel uncomfortable with her behavior. It doesn’t sound respectful or genuine. Ignoring her and keeping some distance might be the best way to protect your peace.
At the end of the day, your reaction is completely valid. Some people brush things off easily, and some of us feel things more deeply and that’s okay.
Just don’t let others’ behavior make you question your self-respect. You deserve to be treated with kindness.
Take care.
