Anxious
I really have anxiety during the time when I'm spending with the known faces but didn't talked to them yet my friend will talk to everyone and whenever she talks to them I'm very anxious and they won't even consider existence that makes me even more.because of this anxiety I afraid that I might lose my career and my dreams hence English is not my first language my throat get struck whenever I try to speak English and get afraid of judgement
Hey @resourcefulBike8109, I’m really glad you shared this 💜
I can hear how uncomfortable and tense those moments feel for you (being around people you recognise but don’t talk to, watching your friend interact easily, and feeling like you disappear in the background), and that kind of anxiety can make even simple social situations feel huge and overwhelming. You’re not alone in that!
It makes sense that your throat gets tight when you try to speak English. When you’re already anxious and worried about judgement, speaking in a second language can feel like an extra layer of pressure. A lot of people experience that physical stuck physically as your body reacting to fear, not a sign that you’re incapable.
Anxiety can make everything feel bigger than it is, like one difficult moment means your whole future is at risk. But the fact that you’re aware of this and reaching out shows how much you care about your goals.
You’re welcome to keep talking here. You don’t have to figure this out alone or pretend you’re not anxious when you are, we're here to listen whenever you need 💜
