Do you know the expression in French: c’est la merde?

Sorry, I don’t know the equivalent in English, it’s just c’est la merde . I’m feeling a bit off, and it’s frustrating to realize that while your whole world feels completely turned upside down, the world doesn’t feel it. It’s c’est la merde, honestly the heart, the body, maybe even the soul, if it exists.
