I am sorry to hear that you can't sleep cause of overthinking, everybody goes through it at some points of their life so don't worry you're not alone in this. If you are struggling to sleep then you might want to calm yourself down a little by being outside and getting some fresh air.. or distract yourself a little by doing what you love, having hobbies and interests help. Most importantly, your friends and family play a good role in supporting you and helping you out.. if you struggle to find support, then don't worry, we are here for you

We care, it's a phase and I hope it passes for you :)

Welcome to 7Cups!  I too suffer from depression sometimes an dI definitely overthink everything.  I haven't been sleeping well lately because of it, I think.  Hard to shut the brain off!  I do have some thinking exercises that I use when I really need them, and I just try to remind myself that it is all going to be OK.  Meditation can really help too!  Grounding oneself and just getting in touch with yourself can be very helpful.

Finally, I've found that using 432Hz music (can be found on youtube) can help some too.  It is apparently a frequency which can be used to lower anxiety.

You do mindfulness meditation such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation or you can write anything like your thoughts or you can listen some good music i believe that can help you
