I used to have that same issue.  The thing that cured me of it was to get sick.  I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but that is how it happened.  I got sick one day.  When I was done, I thought, "that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be."

It's never pleasant, of course, but my anxiety about it has gone down a lot.

Another thing that may help is to remind yourself that people do it every day and get through it alright.  It won't end you.  It won't be the end of the world.  It will feel unpleasant and taste bad, but it will pass.

Hope this helps in some way. 💜

Thank you, and thats definitely how I feel I guess it just feels like the end of the world in the moment. When I am in a normal headspace it doesn’t sound so bad

Yes, that makes sense.  When you start to feel really ill, it can make your adrenaline spike.  It still does for me when I think I'm going to get sick.  But I try to remind myself that last time, it was not as bad as I anticipated, and I also pray a little bit for God to help me through it.  I know that's not for everyone, but it helps me.  Leaning back and focusing on breathing can sometimes help a bit too, and a cold towel on the forehead. 💜
