Fed up of the loop I have created in my life
Hey,
When i go to sleep or take some rest, there are hundreds of thoughts going on and in 5 to 10 mins my mind starts feeling heavy, my heart starts throbbing and i could not sleep. When i searched about it i found out that this happens in case of panic attack or anxiety attack. I wonder why am I like this? Like if I want something why am I not working for it? Why I don't have any plans? I am failing since last 2 attempts and now my 3rd attempt is close and again I am realising that I have wasted my whole year and again I will fail and not only fail but also there is no improvement, only because I didn't studied well😮💨😮💨😮💨. I want to gain my self back, I want to Excell, but whenever i try my mind resists it. How to start? What to start with? Like I want to plan be disciplined and execute well. Plz help me to get out of this loop.

Anxiety is tough 🥺
When you are overthinking , put your earphones in and listen to some music and allow your mind to relax.
It's important to not get too pressured and start making a daily plan, start with slow, consistent habits, that you can build on.
Seeing progression will boost your confidence 💛

My first interrupted degree was in philosophy, and even though the exams I have done were extremely good, I started to avoid showing up.
I should have been helped because o.c it was my anxiety taking over.
As I'm older now, and still stuck on the same path, although I managed to complete other programmes, I would suggest a few things:
You are allowed to slow down, maybe enrolling part time. I know you might go through peer pressure, but in the job market almost nobody cares if it took you longer to graduate.
You might have chosen the wrong course, so you might want to assess which programme really aligns with your strengths.
Please don't trust the hype. Especially now, nothing is guaranteed. For instance I switched onto business and I'm unemployed. PLS don't betray your passions for the sake of what it deems to have a higher value in the job market
When we study what we really enjoy it gives pleasure not anxiety.
I hope it helped 💚
@ElementalBeing01 Hey 👋 .. I can see you're dealing with anxiety.. I can understand how much hard it will be to take a small step towards reaching your goal/s while dealing with anxiety and panic attacks.. You know the first thing I suggest is never try to be idle in the complete silence. Even while sleeping try to put some music on in low volume and that probably improves the situation a bit and helps you to sleep/relax.
And regarding executing your tasks.. just follow this japanese technique where you do anything you want to for 10mins without breaking even if that feels hard.. And after that 10mins.. if you feel you don't want to, then just ignore/postpone it.. but if you like to continue.. there the interest is built and you will accomplish that.. And repeat the same for ignored/postponed tasks after a while or the next day and see if that works..
Take care!
