Feeling lonely and anxious in college
Being in college and having anxiety and being lonely with next to no friends is the worst. I have absolutely no one to talk to in and out of classes most of the time. I've been working hard to improve my skills on handling my anxiety, but it doesn't work most of the time.

My heart goes out to you.
College is hard enough and then you add anxiety into the mix.
Its tough.
You are not alone here.
Its important to be honest, and maybe your college has done supports in place.
It might be helpful to reach out to others and to get to know some people, to make you feel less alone. Anxiety can suck but it can also be managed effectively, there's no magic wand sadly, but what works for me is counting my breaths slowly until my heart rate slows down, listening to music to stop overthinking, having a good self care routine and telling myself, I am safe, this has not hurt me 💕💜 Genuinely hoping things improve for you 💕
I can totally understand . Beacuse I'm facing the same thing
I am planning on leaving the school and study at home that place is mentally draining me .I have literally no one to talk to all i can do is zoning out and stare into a wall while others having fun. I tried so hard to talk to someone but I can't. Apart from that i get called certain names which i really don't like and it really breaks my heart. I just want someone to talk. 😄

Hi …
I’m glad you reached out and shared what has been going on—it is the first step out of the loneliness.
Are there therapists at your college? Have you looked at a list of clubs?
I remember feeling the exact same way in college. That was a long time ago. I used to feel invisible. Like no one even saw me. One day I was getting on a campus bus and it was raining and I felt so lonely and sad. The bus driver said something nice to me and I couldn’t believe that he actually saw me. I almost started crying then. But it helped to know I wasn’t invisible haha.
I want to say it gets better. And in some ways it does. I still feel lonely and invisible some days though.
Wish I had some encouraging words but know you are not alone.
