Health Anxiety

I feel trapped in my head and body. My anxiety is causing so many physical symptoms (more visable veins, tension and soreness, nausea, stomach issues, the list goes on) and also leading me to neglect my health because of how anxious I am (poor sleep, under and overeating, not drinking water, bed rotting a lot, etc). And the physical symptoms freak me out so much to the point I am constantly checking and analyzing my body, googling things, asking my friends for reassurance and comparing my body to theirs to tell if mine is "normal" or "healthy". It's been so debilitating I cannot enjoy life anymore it's all I think about and am in a constant state of dread and on edge. Is anyone else going through this?

😔

I'm so sorry you are going through this.

It's overwhelming and quite scary at times 🩷

It's about not overthinking everything and trying to change it all at once.

Because that's overwhelming.

And creates more pressure.

It's important to start slowly.

Changing one thing at a time.

Maybe start by getting up sooner one day.

The next day incorporating water into your dayt.

Building up to fruit.

Then exercise.

Small things.

But it's more about consistency and these things will make you feel better 🩷

Yea I am trying to slowly work on building healthier habits as I am home from college for the summer now. So I'm trying to build up a routine, eat better (since my schedule is less busy and I don't have dining hall food anymore lol). I just need to calm myself down and work on myself a bit for sure.
