I was told by my therapist, I am depressed and need medication and to talk to a psychiatrist. I talked to a psychiatrist and he said I’m not depressed, I just need to move out of my small town, so easy for someone that makes150,000 a year, I make 44.000 wtf do I do now? I can’t move I’m 62 and alone. I have zero support from professionals. Where is the help?

that does not sound like a great psychiatrist to have told you that :( so sorry you'rebeing dismissed by people who are licensed to help. that's really rough. i hope you can find good support here. listeners aren't trained professionals but they can be strong soundingboards and confidantes. i am wishing you the very best.
