How do you handle work anxiety?

I just moved into this new job last June and it's been giving me anxiety. I work remotely, and my boss and teammates are all kind but I keep on having these negative thoughts about myself and my teammates, that it makes me cry multiple times during work and has been cause of my stress even after working hours and I can't even enjoy my free time and weekends.

Do you have any tips on how I can ride this anxiety? Or just manage my brain to go anxious mode when I'm working, and just stay there and not affect my personal life?

🥺

💕💜

Sometimes when we are anxious or overwhelmed irrational thoughts or intrusive thoughts, that come out of nothing, find their way in.

I would listen to music to drown this out and tell myself daily, my boss and co workers are kind people, saying it, will hopefully let it sink in and take hold. I genuinely hope that you can overcome this 💕💜

Thanks for the advice, Amanda! 😍

I'm actually doing the same thing, listening to music and watching my comfort shows to make the anxiety bearable, but then I'd feel guilty because I'd be listening or watching too much whilw working and it makes me feel I'm not doing anything valuable at work. It's hard, but it feels nice to have someome understand what I'm going through 🥹
