I lost myself..
I'm at a lost of a words where I stand between my relationship and a mother. Parenting is tough enough but I'm raising such a sweet innocent boy and the last thing I need is him witnessing how toxic my relationship can be. I asked my boyfriend if he's going to bed, he mumbles way too much and believes I'm supposed to hear him. I don't ever get a good night kiss, an I love you, or anything just leaves the room and sleeps. I asked if he's going to bed, I said okay then ignore me too, apparently his mumbling was “I am” but instead I get told “I answered you idiot”
I'm at a point where I've had enough so I shut the door to confront him how I don't appreciate being called names in front of my son and I was told to go away and leave him alone..
I've had enough trying to be this perfect what ever I'm supposed to be considered to him when it does not take me much to upset him..
@lovelydesteny1 It sounds incredibly difficult to navigate your relationship while trying to be the best parent you can be. Your feelings are valid, and it’s completely understandable to want a peaceful and loving environment for your son. You deserve to be treated with respect and kindness, especially in front of him. Taking care of your own well-being is just as important as caring for your child. Sending you support as you navigate this situation 💜
