Kicked out house three times .. 😞
My mom has never liked my boyfriend because she doesn’t like the fact that he works in HVAC because she thinks he won’t make enough money (they make a lot of money), she thinks he’s not tall enough.. my brother is shorter than him, she thinks he’s not cute enough, she talked about his “ugly birth mark” on his face, she called him a loser, doesn’t refer to him by his actual name. All of these horrible things
I’ve gotten my stuff all thrown in bags into a suitcase because I celebrated his grandmas birthday, her and my dad kicked me out a week before Christmas and not even a day notice to pack all my stuff, she doesn’t even refer to him by his real name she just says “him” and constantly belittles him. They screamed at me and my boyfriend because we didn’t say hi to them downstairs but we didn’t even know they were there and we were talking to my brother and mind u I had a 102 degree fever
Ive now been living in his parents home with him for the past 6 months and it’s been nice. My mom only texted me once during that and all she was saying was that she’s glad that she stood up for herself again and basically trying to justify herself and everything she did to me. I texted back defended myself and I sent another text saying if I can visit back home (not live there) just because to see my brother and she left me on read for a month and a half for both of those messages..

So very sorry you are going through this! This sounds like a truly difficult and heartbreaking situation. But, it does sound like things are a bit calmer now. Please make sure you take the time to take care of yourself! It does sound like your parents have some issue that has nothing to do with you (or even him, based on what you wrote!) and it may be very difficult, but you are hopefully on your way to even better things!
Hi friend , thank you so much for replying to this you’re very kind and I really appreciate this. Yes my parents have put me in the most hopeless situation ever. Having to obey my parents rules and live back home and be upset all the time I’m not with the love of my life, or don’t have any connection with them again if I go on with my life with my boyfriend. They put me in the worst possible scenario and want me to choose him or them for what!? No reason. He’s absolutely wonderful so this hurts. But everything happens for a reason. And yes they do have mental issues I believe.
@tearfulsounds That sounds very difficult! Have you been able to articulate this to your parents at all? That could possibly help. It seems like there is a lack of understanding here and a lot of judgment from your parents.
