I live in Italy, I do highschool and this is my last year and I have 4 subjects under 6, this is causing me to stress really much because we have so many tests, I have been dealing with anxiety for a long time and the amount of things makes me just feel like I can't do anything. I am the first person in my family to have reached last year of highschool, they all did middle school, I feel really hopeless because I am poor and feel mentally unwell I know that without university I can't do anything, but starting university would feel awfull, a job would help, but it's hard finding that with just a diploma.

Hey there, thanks so much for your post and for having the courage to open up. I'm really sorry that you're struggling with such anxiety, those tests sound really anxiety inducing. I'm guessing you can't really turn to your family for support if you're the first one to reach this stage of your education - but wow, what an achievement! I hope you can take a minute to be proud of all you've accomplished and how hard you've worked.

I really hear you about that vicious circle of needing a job to get experience but not being able to get one without it, that's so tough. And financial stress will only compound what you're going through, that's not easy to deal with at all.

I'm also sorry to hear that you're feeling anxious about starting university too - it's such a big change and a big commitment, that makes absolute sense.

Sending lots of strength and good wishes, and please do reach out if helpful to chat 1:1 about what you're experiencing.
