Lonely ım so looonely

@BirkucukJania loneliness is a terrible thing 🙁 with so many people in this world it makes me think how we can let so many go lonely😥 this time of year when we know families and friends gather together, can picture the happiness and love on people's faces🙂 I wish I had a family, and friends to spend xmas with. Do you live by yourself?? I live in a carehome, but all the other residents go to stay with their kids and grandkids over xmas and new years. It does get lonely.

Loneliness is never a pleasant feeling. I used to feel lonely a lot, but then I managed to use this to my advantage.

I started to get to know myself better by trying out new activities alone (like traveling and attending events) and trying out new hobbies. This has made me enjoy being alone and made my loneliness become very minimal that it would hardly ever bother me.

So in a way, loneliness gave me meaning by helping me understand myself better and becoming more comfortable being alone with myself 🙂
