My brain is being inconsistient and I'm kinda tired
So a vent. I guess. Here we go.
Hi, I'm in junior high and a closeted trans guy with no (diagnosed) mental illnesses so far.
For the past three days, my brain has been pretty inconsistient but mostly uncomfortable. It's got like two diffrent modes that it's been switching by, being 1) tired and not really feeling happy or excited about much, just tired. and 2) my brain is going so fast and I kinda want to run around, sit on the floor instead of my seat, and make noises. It also goes really fast between aaah I love my friends so much and wait what if they don't? Sometimes my thoughts go fast enough that they lag and I can't really think for a moment. I've been zoning out a bit more than usual too. When I'm given instructions or sometimes info in general I have to process it for a moment longer. And I really want to get a binder for my chest but I can't really do that and my presentation is annoying because some days I feel like crap. And unfortunately at least two of my friends like me romantically when I'm still figuring out if I love myself enough. Except one also liked someone else and ended up dating her, happy for them too. And of course I'm not very good at sleeping, but not the worst either. Given the choice I sleep until about ten, though. Plus I've been a bit noise and touch sensetive recently and I feel like I'm faking it because I'll read a book about a mental illness such as adhd for example and it'd say something like, "people with adhd talk a lot" or something similar and suddenly I do too now, or maybe I notice it more now? I don't know! It feels like my brain is seperate from my body and is against me, or it's doing a horrible job helping me. I named him Harold. Harold also makes me want to tell my math teacher, who is a very nice lady just doing her job, to shut up. She's just teaching the class a new method of slope or something and I suddenly am pretty irritated by her talking. Why won't my brain chill?? Harold, you need to go at a normal speed, function normally, or at least help me get help. I think I talked to a school councilor and even hastily vented some struggles to my amazing librarian but nobody's worried. I am. Everyone always says I'm so nice. I don't know what I need. I tried to talk to my mom but she has depression and my brothers (two of them, ages 9 & 11 I think) both have autism and 9 has adhd as well, so they're a handful. My dad isn't home during most of the day, and idk if it's his diabetes that makes him grumpy but sometimes he is. I'm tired. Being the oldest I also am expected to have good grades and I've always been pretty mature for my age but maybe not so much recently. There's definenlt pressure, but maybe some of that is myself. Waking up is hard in the morning, I set my alarm and hour early so I can use that time just to get up. I get ready in about 30 minutes. I got my mom to take me to a doctor whose vibes I didn't love and we got the vanderbilt form things for adhd testing, and I read them after my teachers filled them out. I got all ones and twos which was fairly NT I'd say, and the said my performance in school was good. What is going on? I don't know! My friend suggested that I test for adhd but I think I'm good enough that teachers don't need to watch me so they don't. Another friend says I'm probably autistic (he is too) and I just don't know. Are there any less heard of mental illnesses it could be, maybe? Please help Lol
And what if by helping me, others are left unnoticed? I don't want to take that away from them. Ugh I feel like I care about others too much sometimes. "No that's a good thingg" Even if I stop caring so much about myself? The appointment with the doctor was a waste of money according to my dad. Afterwards I had another appointment for my ingrown toenails thanks to my dad's genes. We got there and I felt super sick and shaky and I had to leave immediatly so we did, another waste of money. And I'm more forgetful recently too, I took a shower the other day and I forgot to wash out the hair soap. Not just a little, it was at least half of it. Or I forget to wash it completely. Heck is going on?
And the other day, a substitute in my science class was being very strict about talking, and I couldn't do the work or anything and I was having a slight mental breakdown, and I tried to tell my dad at dinner but he was being not good at it. He said just leave the classroom tho, and I know it would have been a whole ordeal and the best thing in that moment was to touch knees with my friend, all I could do. That was annoying
