Overthinking
Hey everyone,
Lately I’ve been struggling a lot with overthinking. My mind just won’t stop — I replay situations, imagine worst-case scenarios, and end up feeling completely drained.
I wanted to share this here to see if anyone else can relate or has found ways to calm their mind when it won’t switch off.
Any thoughts or advice are really welcome 💬

🥺
I hear you.
It's so draining.
And hard to stop completely.
And you feel isolated.
What worked for me, is listening to music yo drown out the thoughts.
Trying to go to a good place/memory in my mind.
Shifting my focus.
And taking it one day at a time.
💕💜

Thank you🙏🏻❤️

A pleasure 💜
@Ida13Overthinking can be really exhausting. One way to calm your mind is to practice grounding techniques—focus on your breath or notice things around you to bring yourself to the present. Setting a specific "worry time" each day can help contain overthinking. Also, writing down your thoughts can make them feel less overwhelming. Remember, it’s okay to take breaks and be kind to yourself. You’re not alone in this.

It sounds like you're going through a lot right now, this sounds like it could be mentally draining , It's normal to feel overwhelmed when you’re overthinking constantly. Have you been able to notice what causes you to overthink like is it randomly or do certain things trigger it identifying that may be able to help you reduce it. For me doing things I enjoy like hobbies, listening to music, watching movies and talking to people helps me when I overthink. Have you tried any other techniques?
