Panic attacks from overthinking...
I tend to overthink everything and that really takes away my happiness, dont even remember when last I was happy

I am sorry you have to go through this too. I had a similar issue in the past and felt the same way. What helped me was learning some CBT tools and grounding techniques/mindfulness (to focus on the present instead of elaborating on intrusive thoughts). Are you familiar with unhelpful thinking patterns? Perhaps recognizing them might help you to be more aware when your thoughts do not necessarily reflect reality. I really like the tips on this webpage: https://www.healthline.com/health/mental-health/stop-automatic-negative-thoughts#2-recognize-automatic-negative-thinking.
@Phindi99 Hi Phindi, I am reading two books that really help me. Feeling Good and The 10 Best Ever Anxiety Management Techniques. They not only explain the techniques but how the brain works and what causes anxiety and depression. I’m here for you if you want to chat.

I'm sorry that you're struggling w this right now. Our brains are made up of circuits, and, like a road system, the circuits that get used the most get the most "funding". If those circuits are anxiety and panic, those are the nicest "roads" in our brains. With meditation, a little dirt road of peace is formed in the brain. With continued practice, that road gets more funding and grows into the major system. I use the Insight timer app, it has 1000's of free meditations you can choose from based on your mood. A powerful meditation for anxiety that you can do in bed is called Yoga Nidra, between asleep and awake. It soothes the body and the mind, reducing anxiety and depression, and can help you sleep too if you need that as well. There's lots of vids on YouTube. Yoga and Tai Chi are both great exercises in that they're meditations for the body and the mind, they remove excess energy, and help decrease anxiety. A breathing technique will also be your friend when panic hits. I use the 4 square technique. I breathe in for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, breathe out for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, repeat until better. With practice, you can teach your mind to be in a less-anxious state. I wish you well... ☮️
