Peaceful sleep

I have never slept peacefully in my whole life I have never woken up peacefully any morning in my whole life. Every morning I woke up by being afraid. Every day I have been tired to go through including fear of missing out sometimes. Every morning I have stomach and fast heartbeat. Exactly what is a peaceful sleep?

@sue4

I'm sorry you've had such problems with sleep. What is peaceful sleep? I think there's some variability in how people define it.  For people who can't sleep much, any amount of sleep might be considered peaceful.  Some sleep deeply and peacefully until they reach the "REM" (rapid eye movement) stage.  That's when dreams are most vivid.  It's possible that if you only remember the last one or two dreams, or maybe wake up in an agitated state, regardless of what you remember, that may be what's happening.

I doubt it would be helpful to give a lot of detail about my sleep history, except to say that I've experienced sleeplessness, intermittent and exhausting sleep, sometimes so much sleep I'd wake up with a sleep hangover.  I was once on a medication that caused me chronic nightmares, and it was for something other than sleep.

I went to a sleep study and they found out I had apnea to the extent that my oxygen level was in the 70s.  At that time, I'd often awaken with a headache, rushing heart and as I mentioned above intermittent and exhausting "sleeps."

I don't think there's any way of knowing what may help unless you talk to a doctor.  Then you can make an organized approach, first ruling out physical causes, then possible emotional ones.

These days, the only thing that interrupts my sleep are bathroom trips.  ;)

Thank you for value throughs but my sleepless is not about medicine. It is about anxious it’s about stress, fear of messing out something, afraid that something will happen bad, afraid that I will be in trouble.

@sue4 Hi there! I noticed that you have particularly asked a question that what a peaceful sleep actually is. And you said that you have never experienced one in your entire life. Disrupted and broken sleep can have many underlying causes and resolving them will restore the proper sleeping cycle and you will feel better. Can we discuss more about your concern and map out a plan on how to address your problem.

Hi how are you
