Please help or give advice
Currently i am sitting on my couch and i dont know how to feel. For those of you who know what *** is, when i opened *** today i got a snap from my friend that showed a gun in a case. I knew he had thoughts about suicide but i never thought he would actually do it. I looked at the snap and it was sent two days ago. I have not been on social media much bc i had a band competition this past weekend. And he also unadded me. I have texted him on multiple places praying he will respond. I honestly dont know what to feel right now. Im shocked but im not mad or angry or sad. I honestly feel horrible that k never responded earlier. If he did do it maybe if i had checked my messages earlier then i could have saved him.

Hello. I am not very familiar with such situations, but first two things that come into my mind:
1) You could try to contact one of the emergency hot lines at the top of the list here:
IF something might have really happened to your friend, maybe they could be able to track it. Also, they must have more experience with such situations, and they might tell you what them and you could do.
2) Do you have any means to contact anybody who knows your friends and knows where he is? His parents or relatives (your parents may become useful, too). They could be helpful.
While your friend is a teenager and has a real gun (not a toy looking like a real gun), it can put him into trouble, no matter if and what use he might want to make of it.
Also, sometimes people publish something to make their friends or followers shocked. I hope it can be this way, too. However, I believe that is not the right thing to do to attract attention.

I understand you might be shocked, uneasy and even feel a bit guilty. But this just digital media - you can be online a few hours a day, but while you are offline for an hour, something happens. Let's see how the situation develops. I keep my fingers crossed for both of you.
Thank you. I cannot express how much this helps me. I am going to try again tomorrow morning and if that doesnt work i might text his mom. But i dont know how that will go. Ill try and update.

Thank you for checking up on me. I have faith that he is still here and alive. I have this app called airbuds which basically can tell me what music my friends are listening to at that moment. Yesterday i saw that my friend was listening to our favorite music artist on spotify. About 8 months ago his parents took away his phone for like 5-6 months. I fear that id what has happened this time again. Im still praying that he is well and i reach out to him every day.😕
