Separation anxiety in adults
Hello all
Is separation anxiety in adults a thing ?
I think may have it, a few months ago my partner started heavy drinking lost her job and kept going out drinking resulting in her getting arrested
Ever since then whenever ahe wants to go out or even go to her mums I get anxious and stress
Even if she wants to sleep on the sofa when she cant settle in makes me stress and not be able to.

I think you just associate her leaving with getting arrested and the pain and the trouble it caused.
And you are trying to protect her.
But ultimately it's about trusting her and her putting in the work to make sure you can 💙

Yes I think its more to do with working about her safety rather than trust
But suppose I have to trust her to be safe lol
