Should i meddle in my parents relationship?

My parents got in a fight in front of me and my sibling... They were arguing about their past problems...well i pointed out the fact because they were involving us in that argument... apparently they didn't liked facts and became silent after that...is it a good thing that i meddled? Or should i have been quite and torture myself from inside!
