Tw: Threatening customer/Abrasive Behavior/ Silent Panic Attack

Now that the trigger warning is out of the way, I had a customer just a bit ago at my home job. She was very rude, she was upset over a false ad, which I tried to empathetically explain that we have no control, she began to full on scream at me, talking over me consistently and I was beginning to shake when I started to speak with assertive but professionally and politely. She began to then threaten me with my job, telling me to "get something that actually pays". I kept shaking, but I continued to let myself be assertive, but with respect. I swear it was ridiculous and I feel as if my job, uses mental breaks as rewards, but then takes them away.. which shouldn't've be happening. taking 300+ calls on Pilot system it a lot of calls per day and back to back..😓

@PhoenixButterfly97 Hey, I'm so sorry you had to deal with this. Customer service is tough, and you're right, 300+ calls is a lot. It sounds like that customer was taking their anger out on you for something you had no control over, and that's not okay. Insulting your job and your professional skills must have felt hurtful and abrasive as well. Congratulations on handling it by being assertive, polite and professional! I hope the next day of work is better for you <3
