Sleep problems..

This is coming from someone with bad health anxiety. I always think I have this disease, that disease, this health problem.. And it’s all the rare and extremely terrible ones. It’s been terrible on me. Currently my anxiety has made me think I’ve gotten something called ‘fatal sleep insomnia’ inability to sleep. Every time I try to go to bed I immediately worry that this might be it, I won’t be able to sleep. I know everything that I think and worry about has passed, and is virtually impossible to get. But this one’s making it hard to sleep every night.

@Lovestruct

I just looked it up, and fatal sleep insomnia only affects 1-2 people out of every million. Does that help? <3

@Lovestruct I hear you, that kind of health anxiety can be really exhausting, especially when it messes with your sleep. Sometimes, when our minds fixate on something scary, it can make the fear feel even bigger. Maybe trying small routines or calming activities before bed could help ease your mind a bit, like listening to soothing music or practicing gentle breathing. Also, some people find it helpful to write down their worries earlier in the day to give their brain a chance to let go before bedtime.
