Sleep problems
Ever since I was younger i have not been able to sleep at night. As a kid I would watch scary videos and then be terrified at night but love them during the day. That made night times very very scary for me. Now, it has gotten way worse. To the point ever 10 seconds at night I have to open my eyes when trying to go to sleep. I have thought someone will come and do something bad to me or break in, or that someone is already in my room even though i know they aren’t. And also it doesn’t help that I nap after school which makes it harder to sleep. I genuinely don’t know what to do because unless i’m very tired I won’t fall asleep at night because i’m always on high alert. I get like 3 hours of sleep at night after my naps which isn’t to bad but i just want to sleep peacefully.

Sorry you are struggling!
You are still subconsciously thinking of those scary films and it's preventing you still from sleeping!
I would firstly recommend not taking any naps!
Make sure your room is uncluttered.
Spray lavender on your pillow.
Keep technology out of the room.
Perhaps listening to some soothing music.
Gradually building up a proper bedtime routine.
Sleep is vital for mental health!
