Social anxiety problem

Hi, I'm new here so nice to meet you. Mind you, I'm not diagnosed so apologies for any mistake.

Last week, I had a presentation and it never went so horribly. I was shaking so much I couldn't even read my own paper due to my hand shaking like crazy, my voice was also shaky and even my friend who was presenting with me was concerned. I genuinely don't think this is normal at all.

This Wednesday, my geography teacher grouped me and my friend together with some kids next to us that talk alot, (even though we were just talking as much as the rest of the class) so now I have to do a presentation about something as 'punishment'. She was the one who saw me do my presentation last week, so she knows how much this can stress me out, because I was going to have a literal meltdown.

I hate her for doing this to me, because she genuinely has no idea how much presentations affect me.

Thank you for reading

@n0tst3fs

I'm genuinely sorry you had such an awful experience 🩷

Presentations can be so scary.

They take practice.

But you shouldn't be letting yourself get so upset over them, I would be open with the teacher, to make sure she understands 🩷
