The Echo of Loneliness

Without a partner to offer emotional sanctuary, that loneliness becomes a heavy, physical presence. It isn’t just about being alone; it’s about the feeling that your emotional needs are "on hold" indefinitely, which can lead to a crushing sense of depression.

To cope with the anxiety of battle, many service members find themselves pulling back emotionally. This makes it harder to feel joy or connection, leading to a deep sense of being "hollowed out."

@sgtfranco

Thank you for all that you do 💙

And thank you for opening up and sharing with us the reality of what service men and women go through.

It must be so difficult having no one to decompress.

Or just tell you it will be ok.

I wanted to just say today, I hear you and I hope you know here you are not alone 🩷🤗
