To my anxious friends

Ngl today has been tough with anxiety. It seems something I won't be able to overcome easily.

I feel so stupid because I have invested time and resources in business programmes, initially I did philosophy but I dropped because my grandmother passed.

I really wanted to get into counselling, but the programmes in European English speaking countries are expensive (not extremely) but I cannot afford at the moment.

I'm suited for business but on a theoretical level, not much in execution. Also I went through 2 years of applications, interviews, rejections.

I can't be bothered anymore. The only business development job I would like to do is with fundraising and donors retention with charities.

I'm a bit lost...

I understand how difficult it is to find our niche in life and what we are passionate about.

We try things and they don't work out.

All you can do is continue to do your best.

If your heart lies in the charity sector, dont give up on that 💙

In my opinion its better to separate the problem of the anxiety. It's normal to be frustraded when situations like your future are uncertain, but to overthink and feel anxious about is adding extra weight. First, breathe and say to yourself its ok to feel worried. Do not fight your feelings, most of the time anxiety is our mind fighting itself. Let yourself be frustrated a bit. You're human, and we feel like that. After breathing a bit, say to yourself "my mind is battling itself, I don't need that right now". Anxiety is hard because it makes thoughts and scenarios become too real, we can't tell apart reality. Accepting that you are anxious is the first step to letting it not control you. If you want to share more about the programmes, please do :)

Yeah you are right. That's why I'm stepping out from doing the same things over and over. Being on 7 cups helps because I can focus on the human sphere, also sharing and listening to others put everything in perspective.

Thanks for your comment, much appreciated!
