Too scared to speak
Anyone ever feel too scared to say things? Even if the things said isn't controversial or bad in any way, you're just scared what is said would be taken the wrong way.
Even a compliment, too scared to give a compliment to someone online because of the what ifs & the disaster that your brain tells you would happen if you just say one wrong little thing to the wrong person.
Do you guys ever feel that way?
Yes definitely i do feel that way. I have not been so fortunate to have a friend circle which would break down every single compliment or statement i make. perhaps i will never get to know why. but they are the way they are. & They don't seem to be getting any better so i have changed my attitude towards them. I hardly bother what they think but if in case something comes to my knowledge whereby i see they have manipulated straight facts i do give them a nice lesson to them. coz i have confidence and faith on myself now much more than when i used to be afraid.

I understand what you mean. For me, this often is when I am texting someone, since the message I write is there, and can be used in any context. It is hard, sometimes even limiting my ability to text. We want to think that our words will always be used within their own context, but we just do not know. It makes sense for their to be stress about this. The trial becomes in how we think about this, it is hard not to let this anxiety get in the way of our normal speaking, but it must be done. If you would like to talk more about it and share experiences with it, please feel free to reach out using the 7Cups platform and I am happy to discuss it more with you.
Yes, I definitely worry about how what I say/do will come across, especially in person. I try to avoid talking to people on social media too much because it can get so hostile
