Why is life really challenging to me

I really don't know but I think that's what's killing me. I don't know if i'm genuinely struggling, or if I just want to say I am. An excuse to feel sorry for myself. My overthinking is suffocating. Religious struggles really don't help. I struggle to avoid sin, I don't know if I have blasphemed god, jesus or the holy spirit if not all. Am I doomed to spend eternity in ***? Am I a disappointment to God? I've never been in a relationship. I don't know if that makes me an outsider. I mean alot of my friends are. I've had a failed one. And talking stages, none of which really work out. Which sucks because I get really attached easily. School - If I don't do well here, what am I going to do. I don't want to be stuck struggling throughout life. What am I going to do with myself if I don't do well here. I'm just lost.

As someone else who is a trying their best to be a follower of Jesus Christ, I know you're struggles. God's voice is so small compared to the broken world around us, but I do want to say, even if you slip up and sin, once you are saved, you are always saved, you just need to repent.

Hey there,

I just wanted to share a little encouragement...

I don't believe you are doomed to spend eternity in ****.

I don't believe you are disappointment to God either.

If there is such a thing as "Sin" - then it's something we all do. It's the human condition. It's something that is literally impossible for us to not do I think the important thing is that the big stuff - such as purposely hurting others, etc, is more what God would be concerned about.

The fact that that you are trying to avoid sin, shows that your trying to do the right thing.

I do think, there is far too much emphasis regarding sin used in today's messages, especially toward younger people. You end up with feeling bad about yourself, rather than living with for peace of mind that God loves you and accepts you no matter what. And that includes any "sin".

You're good, you're worthy, you're unique and you matter. To both God and the world.

I can relate to not wanting "to be stuck struggling throughout life".

Life really can be a struggle. But I think it's important to put healthy role models around us. And that can be anyone... they don't even have to be real. It could be a superhero... your favourite TV characters... an inspiring author or actor. Anyone you can look up to for inspiration and direction.

Also... The "Calm" app has been helpful for me. Perhaps give a try and see if it might help you too.

Strength and Peace to you.

Hi

When I'm going through a really rough time, I feel somewhat the same way.

I'm a Christian too. Sometimes when we're down on ourselves, those feelings can overlap and we feel like we've sinned and done something wrong. God feels very far away.

I was just reading my Bible daily devotional about this yesterday. The question was asked why don't we feel that God cares about each one of us individually. It doesn't feel that way at times but He really does.

I would encourage you to talk to God and tell him how you feel and ask him for help. Read your Bible every day. It's so important to be with other caring believers who will encourage you. I hope you will go to church and find a loving church family or go back to the church you were attending. You need and deserve support.

I'm praying for you 🙏 Big Hugs 🫂
