Hi all! I have really bad social anxiety and agoraphobia. I’ve been out of work for about three years, and am trying to look into options that would work for me after working on myself to where I feel like I might be ready to handle a job again. Does anyone have any suggestions for things that I could potentially pursue?

@toughBike8297 Hi there!

First off, it's really brave and commendable that you're taking steps towards re-entering the workforce, especially considering the challenges you've been facing. When thinking about job options, perhaps consider roles that allow you to work remotely or have minimal social interaction, like data entry, content writing, or graphic design. Jobs with flexible hours could also be less overwhelming. Remember, it's okay to take small steps and find a pace that feels comfortable for you. Wishing you the best on your journey!

In my experience the best places to work are small local businesses. With corporations usually their a larger demand and communication can be tricky. However, if you can find a job with a local business the boss may be more understanding and working close to home May be a comfort to you. However, if you don’t want to work a costumer service job working in a warehouse might be more beneficial if you want to avoid more interaction with customers. Temp agencies are always looking for people to work in warehouses and you resume wouldn’t matter as much.
