Coping with panick attacks?
Does anyone know some good methods?
I suffer from strong anxiety and I randomly have super strong panick attacks, to the point I bleed from my nose, I spend hours crying, nor being able to breathe and I have to take 2 anxiety pills(if not more). Also I suffer from IBS and these panick attacks make my syndrom a living hell.
My anxiety is Chronical so I'll always have it. I've accepted it , however I dont want it to define me.
Also I cant get help from a professional. So my solution has been trying method after method to cope. So is why Im making this treath! Would love to hear you guys on this
@Booklover95 I've got two go-to methods: The first is deep breathing, but for it to work and to get my mind in a good spot quickly enough, I need to have stayed on top of my guided minfulness/meditation recently. Another trick I've picked up is the 5-1 method of being in the present. Focus on 5 things you can see from where you are, 4 things you can physically touch around you, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste. (It's okay to be stuck or to have to skip, but make sure you really take the time to put yourself in the present before skipping over something.)
