I need to know the reason.
Okay, I used to have panic attacks all the time, but I haven't gotten one in about 7 years. I pretty much always know what I want and how to get it. I usually am very confident and have no issues making choices or changes, I actually usually welcome change, especially big change.. So I am having a super hard time understanding why it's the exact opposite this time!
Here's what happened:
I have been living in this place for almost two years now. I have a boyfriend, that I live with, but I'm not sure i'm all that into. I don't have a job, haven't for about 8 months. I have no money and no inkling that they may change. So I decided to move back to the place I lived before, where my family is, I have a guaranteed job, and friends. I tried to start driving the other day and had an epic panic attack that last pretty much the first hour of my drive. So, I pulled off the highway and came back. I felt better. But now I'm still here and nothing has changed for the better and nothing probably will.
SO... my question is.... Why did I panic? I had no reason for it. What I was doing was completely the logical step. I like logic. It's nice. But ALL I could think about was "What if this is a horrible decision?"
Any opinions or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I have no real answer. I get panic attacks occasionally still too, and they always seem to be unrelated to external factors. I have noticed them increase every time I move, but I don't know why, either.
