Is this a panic attack
"Sometimes i feel like the world has been slowed down. I am straped down, i cant move. My heart starts beating faster and faster. I know that if i stay there something horrible will ocour. But i cant break free from the spell. I stay there trapped for hours or a few seconds. Time dosent exist. Slowly my eyes begin to twitch, and then im free. Its like it never happened. And i think why the hell couldnt i move before? Did it even happeb? Only the tumping of my heart beat keeps me from falling of the railing deep into insanity." I used to always get panic attacks and hyperventilate, shake. But i learnt to stop them. And latley i just freeze. I think it may be a panic attack. What do u guys think?

Any "diagnosis" online is bound to be less accurate than what a medical doctor is able to provide. If this causes you limitations in movement which prevents you from doing things like driving or getting on with your day then it would be wise to see a doctor in person. I know some people who have minor eplieptic siezures which can be similar symptoms of shakiness and of losing control over motor skills temporarily. Epliepsy can also have a side effect of short term memory loss and can seem a bit like you've zoned out of consciousness but still look as though you are awake with a glaze over your eyes but it may not happen in all cases. It could very well be a panic attack that you're experiencing. I've heard of instances with extreme depression where someone will feel frozen in time but I can't say that I have first hand experience with that specifically despite having had panic attacks and depression before.
@shayspace

@shayspace
It definitely could be an anxiety attack, but it can also be something more rare. I definitely reccomend you gather more information about these experiences. As easypeace said, you should identify what causes it, in what situations, etc. I would contact your physican or a mental health professional just to be safe.
If you need help or need to talk to someone about these symptoms, do not hesitate in contacting a listener on our website on:

@shayspace panic and anxiety, it happens to me too.
does anyone else feel this exact same way?
@shayspace well it sounds like one but you should get a doctors opinion before random people online, but stay strong <3 i know how hard attacks are and it feels like youre dying when you get them but its ok, there are ways to cope :)
