Cockroach phobia...yay.
Hey all,
So I do wanna say that thankfully I live in a climate where I really do not have to worry about them.
However, after being attacked (literally) in the shower by two of them (separate occasions), they still leave me something of a mess when I happen to run into one.
Weird topic as this is, can any of you also relate to this phobia, or a phobia presenting itself after an encounter with an insect in somewhat of a compromising position?😅
@sereneSunset26
Hey Sunset! It is so strange you have been attacked by them on two different occasions! I would think they are scared of humans and do not approach them. Was that abroad when you do not have them in your climate? I have seen some of them already too but they ran away. It can be really nasty experience, I would be scared after it as well.
@globalBraid3744
Yeah, it was in Texas, which certainly is a warmer climate than what I'm rocking now.
I probably used 'attacked' as a bit of a misnomer; I doubt it helped my cause that I maaaay have screamed like a banshee on both occasions when I saw them in the shower (coming up the drain mind you, lol).
But yeah...never again. 😅
I live in Louisiana and deal with Palmettos which are the largest bugs I've ever seen in my life, I actually had a whole entire meltdown standing on my bed screaming with tears running down my face as the demon crawled it's way towards me. Needless to say I haven't slept the same since that day. It was a day of absolute tragedy.
you are not alone my friend.
Please never move to Louisiana.
it's actual hell.
