Fear of medication

I’m supposed to start taking zoloft this week, but im so terrified of side effects. Im a hypochondriac, but also experience intense IBS and chronic fatigue symptoms and am only 24. I am so afraid that the Zoloft will make these things worse, especially after reading up hundreds of reviews. I want to take it to help my panic attacks and depression, but am too scared to start it especially because i live alone
